"As is" service

Threads Download is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of this site or the information, content, or materials included on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Service availability

The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or changes Threads makes to their platform. Because we extract media by parsing publicly available Threads pages, sudden changes by Threads can break extraction with little warning. We aim to fix breakages quickly but cannot guarantee a specific recovery time.

Content ownership

All Threads posts — videos, images, captions — remain the intellectual property of the original creators. Threads Download does not host, store, modify, or claim ownership of any downloaded media. We are simply a fetch-and-pass-through utility that retrieves files from Meta's CDN and routes them to your browser as a download.

By using Threads Download, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to download and use any content you save through this tool. Downloading content does not grant you a licence to use it commercially or to redistribute it. Always respect creators' rights and the Threads Terms of Service.

Personal use only

Threads Download is intended exclusively for personal, non-commercial use. Permitted examples include saving a video to share with a friend, archiving your own posts, or referencing a creator's content with attribution. The following are not permitted:

• Republishing downloaded content as your own.
• Commercial use without the original creator's permission.
• Bulk scraping of Threads for any purpose.

Pages on Threads Download may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Threads, Meta's help centre, advertisers via Google AdSense). We have no control over the content, accuracy, or practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.

Advertising

Threads Download displays ads via Google AdSense to keep the service free. We do not control which specific ads are served. If you encounter an ad you believe is misleading or inappropriate, please let us know and we will report it to Google for review.
